Srinagar, February 13, 2025 – Surinder Singh Channi, Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Congress, extended heartfelt wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the nation on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.

Shab-e-Barat, observed on the 14th night of Sha’ban in the Islamic calendar, is seen as a time for prayer, self-reflection, and seeking forgiveness from Allah. It is a night when many Muslims believe their destinies for the coming year are written, and it is considered a time of spiritual renewal.
Channi further urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to come together in prayer, unity, and peace, emphasizing the importance of mutual understanding and harmony among people of all faiths.
