SRINAGAR (VEN): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday ordered new timings for Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) and Government Dental Colleges (GDCs) in Jammu and Kashmir.

“The reporting time shall be at 09:00 am and the relieving time at 05:00 pm on weekdays while the reporting time shall be 09:00 am and the relieving time at 01:30 pm on Saturdays,” reads an order issued by the Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department.

“Except Saturday, a half-hour lunch break shall be observed from 01:30 pm to 02:00 pm on all days,” the order reads.

The move aims to enhance patient care in the hospitals. (VEN)
