SRINAGAR (VEN): The Government in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday assigned the additional charge of the post of Director, State Investigation Agency (SIA) to Mr. Nitish Kumar.

Mr. Nitish Kumar, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, is also holding the charge of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Crime Investigation Department (CID), Jammu and Kashmir.

The Government’s Home Department in an order said, “Nitish Kumar, IPS, ADGP CID, J&K, shall hold the charge of the post of Director, State Investigation Agency, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.” (VEN)
